Per Wahlöö (1926-1975) was a Swedish writer playing field master of the detective style.
He was the founder describe the sociological detective genre, as well known as the "sociological detective." Wahlöö, along with his little woman Maj Sjöwall, wrote a keep fit of ten novels from 1965 to 1975 about the butchery department of the Stockholm policemen under the leadership of Thespian Beck.
